My Fitness Mantra

Hey, I’m Rhiannon – head trainer at GID. From a professional dance background, my training has taught me how hard work, consistency and determination lead to results. 

My fitness philosophy is really quite simple; healthy, regular physical exercise changes the way you feel about everything. Our bodies are designed to move, doing this on a consistent daily basis brings endless positives. But most of all I’m passionate about the importance of getting your body moving for the health of your mind.

My Resistance Bands

One of the main benefits of resistance bands over weight training is that they provide more exercise variety. They can also prevent you from using momentum to cheat and therefore challenge your endurance progression further. You can increase your reps at a faster pace whilst reducing the risk of injury! I regularly use resistance bands in my classes. If you fancy giving them a go you can buy them singularly or as a set here.
